To act on a petitioned article that Calls for Peace with Iran in a resolution to Maine Representatives in Congress to:
Prohibit use of funds to carry out any military action against Iran without explicit Congressional authorization.
- Ensure U.S. relations with Iran are consistent with international law.
- Encourage talks without preconditions between the U.S. and Iran on nuclear issues and ending the violence in Iraq.
Must be present to vote. Registrations will be accepted at the meeting.
**NOTICE**
The Town of Harpswell has developed a Heating Assistance Program to help qualifiying families with heating fuel costs. Contact Linda Strickland at 833-5771
**IMPORTANT**
The Town of Harpswell Grant/Loan Program has been established to assist low to moderate income households with replacing failed septic systems serving primary year round residences. The Program is designed to improve water quality and protect public health. The Town of Harpswell invites residents to contact the Codes Office for further information.
