Dog Licensing

To license your dog, you will need:

• A current State of Maine Rabies Certificate.
• If your dog is spayed or neutered: Proof of neutering (e.g., a previous license or written verification from a veterinarian).

 

Dog License Fees:

• Spayed or neutered: $6.00
• Not spayed or neutered: $11.00
• Late Fee: A $25.00 late fee (per dog) applies after January 31st.

Note: Online licenses are available only from October 15th to January 31st.
