Shoreland Zone Wetland Assessments

The Town of Harpswell is starting a new project in 2026 to improve the accuracy of our zoning around three wetlands in Town. We will start by assessing the wetlands using available data, followed by field verification, if it is deemed necessary by the wetland scientist.

To kick off the project, the Town hosted a zoom meeting on June 9, 2026 at 6pm to discuss the project, next steps, and how property owners and abutters can choose to be involved. A recording of that meeting can be viewed below.
