Comprehensive Plan Task Force

The Board of Selectmen created a Comprehensive Plan Task Force to update the Town's comprehensive plan. Stay informed and engaged with this important process.

Links to the revised draft of the Town's comprehensive plan can be found below (uploaded January 22, 2025). Paper copies are also available at the Town Office, Orr's Island Library, Cundy's Harbor Library, and Curtis Memorial Library. Members of the Comprehensive Plan Task Force will be available from 1-3 pm on February 11, 13, and 14 at the Town Office to answer questions about the plan. An additional drop-in session will be held on February 13 from 4-6 pm for those who work during the day.

Join us for a public hearing regarding the Comprehensive Plan on February 22 at 10:00 AM at Harpswell Community School. This is a key opportunity to ask questions, share your thoughts, and provide input before the plan moves to a vote.

The plan will be voted on at the March 8, 2025, Town Meeting.
