King Tide Monitoring Photos

The Harpswell King Tide project is a citizen science initiative to collect photographic data showing the impact of rising seas on roads, bridges, property, and ecosystems on the highest tides in Harpswell, Maine. The goal is to record the impact of the higher tides and storm surge over time.

Your photos of King Tides will help document current coastal flooding risks and visualize what may, with sea level rise, become the new tidal norm.

Your photos will be uploaded to the site Anecdata. You can use either a computer or a smartphone to upload your photos. When using a smartphone download the Anecdata App from the Apple App or Google Play stores.

Note: You must register as a member of Anecdata to upload photos. Go to www.anecdata.org and select Get started!     Instructions for uploading photos.
