To hear Public Comment on the 2022 Proposed Appropriation of $159,089 for Curtis Memorial Library. This item will be a secret ballot item on the warrant of the March 12, 2022 Town Meeting. Absentee voting will begin 30 days prior to the March 12 Town Meeting. Contact the Town Clerk’s Office to request an absentee ballot. Ballots will also be available at Harpswell Islands School, March 12, 2022. Polls open at 9am & close at 5pm.
Following the Public Hearing on the Curtis Memorial Library appropriation, there will be Public Hearings for proposed amendments to the Harpswell Shellfish Ordinance and the Harpwell Harbor & Waterfront Ordinance. These amendments are not on the March 12 secret ballot, but are tentatively scheduled to be taken up at the open floor portion of the Annual Town Meeting on March 12.
