2026 Revaluation
DAILY UPDATE:
4/7/25: The data collector is working in the areas from Littlefield Rd to Allen Point Ext Rt. 123.
The Town of Harpswell has hired the appraisal firm Vision Government Solutions, Inc. (VGSI) to perform a town-wide Revaluation Project. VSGI will work with the Harpswell Assessing Department to make the 18-month process successful. The Board of Selectmen is asking for your participation so that the data collected is as accurate as possible. A municipal revaluation has five major phases: Data Collection, Market Analysis, Valuation, Field Review, and Informal Hearings. Many tasks will be implemented during these phases to complete the revaluation. Both the Town of Harpswell and VGSI appreciate the cooperation of the Harpswell taxpayers.
A revaluation will determine the fair market value of every property in Town and equalize the values of all properties for a fair distribution of the tax burden.
